Common Questions

Which pests do you treat?

The most common indoor pests are mealybugs, spider mites, scale, thrips and fungus gnats. Each is identified before treatment, because the right treatment depends on the pest.

Can a plant with root rot be saved?

Often, if enough healthy root remains. Rotted roots are cut away, the plant goes into fresh, fast-draining soil, and watering is reset.

Do you make house calls?

Yes. Think of it as a plant doctor's house call: diagnosis and treatment on site across Allegheny County, by appointment. Large plants are treated where they stand.

What should I do until the visit?

Stop watering, keep the plant out of direct sun and away from heat, and move it away from your other plants in case pests are the cause.
